Schell Games and Innersloth have officially released Among Us 3D, a 3D remake of the popular multiplayer game Among Us. The game is available on Steam with a two-week 20% discount.
Among Us 3D retains the core features of the original, such as quests, sabotage, voting, and betrayal. At the same time, players can now explore the map in first person, use a new gesture system, and communicate via built-in positional voice chat without third-party applications. The updated version also supports crossplay with Among Us VR, but Among Us 3D is not compatible with the classic 2D version.
Players have access to modes with timed events and the popular “Fifteen”, where the infected hunts crew members. In addition, cosmetic elements such as skins, hats, and character colors can be customized with a new in-game currency – “stardust”. It, like cosmetics, is not transferred between versions of the game. Among Us 3D supports lobbies for up to 10 players and is aimed at both single sessions and games with friends.
