A year and a half after the premiere of the first trailer that tore up YouTube, and a few days after the news about the release being postponed to next year, Rockstar has pleased fans of the cult franchise with a new trailer for the action game GTA VI.
The video allows us to once again appreciate the level of realism of the graphics and, especially in conjunction with the updated official website, learn more about the main characters, Lucia and Jason, as well as their environment and the game’s locations. A couple of losers got into serious trouble, so now they can only rely on each other.
Vice City, USA - Jason and Lucia always knew they were playing by someone else's rules. But when an attempt to make easy money goes awry, they find themselves on the dark side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy that spans the entire state of Leonidas - and the only way out of this mess is to work together.
Jason Duval dreams of an easy life, but it only gets more complicated with each passing day. Jason grew up among swindlers and crooks. To wash away the sins of his youth and start everything from scratch, he joined the army, and then fate brought him to the Keys. Now he works for local drug couriers and does what he does best. Perhaps it's time to try something new. Meeting Lucia was a turning point in his life - it's hard to say for good or for bad, but Jason hasn't lost hope.
Lucia Caminos. Lucia's father taught her to fight almost as soon as she got back on her feet. Since then, her life has been a struggle. Trying to help her family, she ended up in prison, from which she managed to get out only thanks to luck. Lucia learned her lesson: from now on, she will do everything wisely. More than anything, Lucia wants to ensure herself the comfortable life that her mother dreamed of back in Liberty City. Now, instead of indulging in fantasies, she has decided to take matters into her own hands. As soon as she got out of prison, Lucia has already come up with a new plan - and she is eager to implement it at any cost.
GTA VI will be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on May 26, 2026, and on PC at a later date.
